Faces of Valor, an organization started by Chick and Ruth's owner Ted Levitt, held its annual ride through Annapolis Saturday, with proceeds benefiting Wounded Warriors.

The event started at Outback Steakhouse

When wounded soldiers from Walter Reed Army Medical Center arrived in a school bus, with police escort, they were met with applause. This continued as the soldiers got off the bus—in a wheelchair, with a cane and with a prosthetic leg—but all with smiles.

The ride proceeded on Route 50, up Main and West Streets and concluded at the Knights of Columbus on Route 2, where attendees gathered for a picnic lunch. Soldiers and their family members rode in classic cars.

The convoy of motorcycles, cars and escort vehicles stretched the entire length of Main Street. Several area police and sheriff's departments provided escorts for the convoy.
